Natalie is a recent graduate from McMaster University, having completed a Bachelor of Social Work, and Honours Social Psychology. During her time at McMaster, Natalie worked in a shelter for survivors of domestic violence and with youth on campus struggling with mental health, substance use, and transition. Natalie takes a Person-Centered approach to working with clients and uses the Stages of Change Model to understand and meet clients where they are at.
Natalie is currently in the process of completing an additional course focused on race, gender based violence, and the experiences of women with precarious immigration status.
In her free time, Natalie enjoys spending time outdoors, photographing nature and reading novels.
